Pinterest is just another rabbit hole I’ve fallen into recently; another mind-numbing outlet for sensory overload… which I am now addicted to, unfortunately.

My boards are quickly filling up with inspiring images, but they just seem to float around after the fact. So I’ve decided to put those pretty pictures to use by collecting interiors sourced from different designers and websites to create a dream house – like fantasy baseball for pinners. Combining different rooms, textiles, decor, etc. I like to think of this as a mood board for my (imaginary) contractor. Wouldn’t that would be nice? The ideas + options are endless, giving me yet another excuse to keep pinning ;)

The space above makes me feel cozy and relaxed, but still up for entertaining friends. I love the pairing of modern structures with soft, lived-in textures. Very clean, lots of light, floor-to ceiling windows, creamy neutrals with upbeat peeks of color. I definitely like the plants, but try to keep the knick-knacks to a minimum. This way there’s still some character without overdoing it. That balcony hammock is calling my name and I want to see those Moroccan tiles everywhere! When can I move in?
