I spend a lot of time perusing airbnb, not just because I have Chronic Wanderlust Syndrome, but also for personal inspiration. I have this dream of creating our own rental space someday, marrying my love for interior design and playing hostess. Plus, earning a little extra income is always a bonus ;) As soon as we have a guest room to decorate, it’s game time.
I envision the perfect bed – crisp, clean sheets and big fluffy pillows, a white down comforter under a soft, colorful throw, two nightstands with reading lamps/sconces and maybe a fuzzy rug for chillier mornings. I’d also be sure to welcome guests with a little care package, including the following:
pellegrino | extra towels | shampoo + conditioner | body wash | lotion | eye mask | fresh flowers
All products would be travel size of course! I’d probably add some kind of edible, like roasted almonds or homemade cookies, and obviously a local guide to all our favorite hot spots (which I hope to have ready to share here in a few weeks!) So what do you think, would you book us?? :)
