lamp | vase | pillow | rug | side table | desk | fiddle leaf
One week in the new place and I love how things are coming together! BUT of course I’m still eyeing a few key pieces that would really complete our space. First of all, we have a bit of an awkward spot behind the couch in our living room, so a large fiddle leaf plant and/or this tiki floor lamp would balance that out nicely. The lamp is even prettier in the flesh btw – I might just have to copy my friend Lindsey, and scoop up one for myself ;)
We finally have hardwood floors (ok they’re vinyl, but whatever, close enough!) and I cannot wait to pick up the perfect rug. I’m loving the Kilim option above, but also dream about a traditional black and white Moroccan design. We also need a new side table by the front door, something on the smaller side, just to toss our mail and keys, etc. And a few new accessories, i.e. this cute throw pillow and vase, would freshen up the decor we’re already working with. Lastly, I’d love a mid century modern desk for our bedroom. Sometimes I work at night, so a more private setup would be much more comfortable than sitting at the kitchen table…
Ahh well these additional items will probably have to wait until after I get back from vacation, especially the fiddle leaf, but I can’t wait to walk you through our cozy little home. Soon enough! xo
