5 things you can toss today

You can’t find what you‘re looking for, your drawers are too stuffed to close easily, you usually just grab something from the top of the pile, wearing the same few pieces on rotation.

I’ve been there. And I now know the only way to get out of this mess is to do some editing. I also know that the thought of facing a task like this can seem daunting, so here’s a little list of things you can freely let go of without looking back:

one

Anything that is worn-out, damaged, or discolored and clothing that no longer fits.

two

Anything that is no longer useful to you, regardless of how expensive it was. Wouldn’t it be better to pass it on to someone who might really love it and use it rather than continue to let it collect dust and take up space in your home?

three

Anything that is still considered useful, but is completely neglected. You have to be honest with yourself and decide if it’s useful to you at this particular time in your life. Someday will never come.

four

Gifts that you don’t love. You are in no way obligated to keep anything that doesn’t serve you. It’s ok.

five

Multiples of anything. Keep only the best, donate the rest.

This list applies to anything in the home, clothing or not. Consider each of these ideas whenever you’re on the fence about something. Before you know it, you’ll be on a roll and know what stays and what goes without a doubt.

Is there something that you don’t really want/need/use anymore but can’t seem to let go? Message me to discuss more in detail, I’m happy to help!
