Clean, soft, and light – all white interiors have me seriously addicted to Pinterest. They’re just so dreamy and bright. But also completely unrealistic. You could never live in a space like this without worrying about spilling coffee in the first 5 minutes. Me, especially.
And I believe there’s a very thin line between hip and depressing. While white on white can be considered minimal + modern, it can easily become an empty insane asylum without the proper lighting.
So to clarify, I LOVE the way white looks on my computer screen, but in real life I’d rather come home to something warmer and more ‘lived in’. UNLESS we’re talking beds… In which case, I could never pass up a big, fluffy white down comforter over crisp white sheets and pillows – perfection.
